# How do I export orders as CSV?

Need your orders in Excel, for example for accounting or your own analysis? Export them as a CSV file.

1. Open the **Documentation** and choose **Orders** at the top.
2. Set the period in the **calendar field**.
3. If needed, set filters, for example only one pharmacy or only narcotics orders. Whatever is shown in the list is exported.
4. Click **CSV export**.

You can open the file in Excel or another spreadsheet program.

|| Tip: If Excel shows special characters (e.g. German umlauts) incorrectly, import the file via **Data → From Text/CSV** and choose UTF-8 as the encoding.
