# Settings at a glance – global vs. pharmacy

apomap has two levels of settings: global settings for your whole account and settings per pharmacy (location). Here you can find out what is where.

## How to open the settings

1. Click **Settings** at the bottom of the left navigation.
2. At the top left, choose the level: **Global** or a specific pharmacy.
3. On the left you see the sections for the chosen level.

## Global settings

| Section | What you set there |

| General settings | Basic settings for your account |
| Orders & automation | Automatic order scheduling, archiving |
| Labels & printing | Label contents |
| Tour planning | Basic parameters, optimisation parameters |
| App settings | Rules for the driver app (scan, signature, proof of delivery …) |
| Pharmacy management system & platforms | Integrations, apomap Tracker |
| Payment methods | Viva (card payment) |
| Administration & management | Pharmacies, staff & drivers, printers, tags |

## Settings per pharmacy

If you choose a pharmacy at the top left instead of "Global", you can set separate values for that location:

- **Basic settings:** time zone, default country code
- **Automatic order scheduling** and **archiving**
- **Packed status**
- **Label contents**
- **Scanning & checks:** enforce scanning on pickup, failed deliveries require approval
- **Route optimisation:** earliest and latest pickup time
- **Email & tracking:** send tracking emails to customers

|| Tip: If you only have one pharmacy, it's usually enough to maintain the global settings. With several locations you can set different rules per pharmacy.
