# Prepared or ready: when do I need to re-optimise?

When you attach orders to a tour, apomap doesn't plan them into the route immediately. Only when you re-optimise is the tour "Ready" again.

## The two statuses of a planned tour

| Status | What it means | What you need to do |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Prepared** | The tour has orders attached that aren't yet planned into the route. | Re-optimise the tour |
| **Ready** | All orders have been optimised into the route. | Nothing – your driver can set off |

## How to spot attached orders

In the tour card, next to the number of orders, there's a **red number**, for example "+2". These are the orders attached to the tour but not yet planned in. The arrow circle for optimising is then also **blue**.

## How to re-optimise

In the tour card, click the **blue arrow circle**. apomap plans all attached orders into the route and recalculates the arrival times. The red number disappears, and the tour is **Ready**.

If the arrow circle is grey, the tour is already optimised.

|| Note: Optimise first, then set off. As long as a tour is still "Prepared", your driver can't start it in the driver app.

|| Tip: Re-optimising uses optimisations from your plan. If you only want to put a single order in a specific place, move it by hand instead. That's free. → How are optimisations counted?
