# What is the apomap Tracker and how do I use it?

The apomap Tracker travels in the cool box and measures temperature, humidity, light and shock during the tour. This lets you document the cold chain without gaps.

|| Note: apomap only works with the apomap Tracker. Other temperature loggers can't be connected. You can get the tracker [here](https://apomap.de/temperaturueberwachung/).

## Switching on

The tracker is normally always on. The display shows "4G" at the top left and "REC" below it. If not, hold down the **start button** until the green "OK" light comes on.

The battery lasts about **60 days**, so you can leave the tracker switched on permanently.

## Reading values on the device

Briefly press the start button. Each further press changes the display:

1. Current temperature
2. Current humidity (%)
3. Highest temperature (MAX)
4. Highest humidity (MAX)
5. Lowest temperature (MIN)
6. Lowest humidity (MIN)

## Charging

Charge the tracker at the bottom via USB cable. While charging, the green and red lights are on and the display shows "Usb". It's full when all bars are visible at the top right.

|| Note: The tracker doesn't measure while charging, so don't charge it during a tour.

## Switching off

Hold down the **stop button** until the red light comes on and the display goes off.
