# What types of orders are there?

There are three types of orders in apomap. You can also give each order special attributes such as priority or refrigeration.

## The three order types

You can tell the type in the order overview by the icon in front of the name.

| Type | Icon | What it's for |
| --- | --- | --- |
| **Delivery order** | Parcel | The classic delivery service: your driver takes medicines and products from the pharmacy to the customer. |
| **Pickup order** | Parcel with arrow | Your driver picks something up, for example prescriptions at a doctor's practice, and brings it to the pharmacy. |
| **Collective order** | Three parcels | Several orders to the same address, for example a care home, are combined into one stop. When you expand it, you see the individual orders. |

You choose whether an order is a delivery or a pickup at the very top when creating it. → How do I create an order manually?

|| Note: A collective order contains either only delivery orders or only pickup orders.

## Several pharmacies: where does the driver go first?

If you have several locations, apomap takes this into account automatically when planning the tour:

- **Delivery order from another pharmacy:** The driver first collects the goods at that pharmacy and then drives to the customer.
- **Pickup order for another pharmacy:** The driver first drives to the customer and then brings what was picked up to that pharmacy.

## Special attributes of an order

Each order can also have one or more special attributes. You set them when creating or editing the order.

- **Priority:** The driver delivers priority orders at the start of the tour.
- **Narcotics (BTM):** The order contains a narcotic.
- **Prescription-only (Rx):** The order contains a prescription-only medicine.
- **Refrigeration:** None, **Refrigerated** (2–8 °C) or **Frozen** (−18 °C or colder). This tells your team when packing and your driver on the road that the goods must be kept cold.

|| Tip: For legal reasons, we recommend requiring a signature for narcotics and Rx orders. You set this under **Settings → General settings**. Your driver can then only complete such orders with a signature.
