# Sharing GPS (with the pharmacy)

So that the pharmacy can see your position live and navigation works, the app needs access to your location.

- **iPhone:** Settings → Apps → apomap app → **Location** → **Always**.
- **Android:** Settings → Apps → apomap app → Permissions → **Location** → **Allow all the time**. The menu names may differ slightly depending on the manufacturer.

|| Tip: On Android, turn off **battery optimisation** for the apomap app. Otherwise the phone may pause the location in the background.
