# How do I use the chat?

With the chat you message your drivers and colleagues directly from apomap, without private messengers.

## Start a new chat

1. In the menu on the left, click **Chat**.
2. Click the **+** at the top.
3. Choose a driver or staff member and click **Create**.
4. Write your message. The **upload icon** also lets you send files, for example a photo of the prescription.

Your driver sees the message immediately as a notification in the driver app, your colleagues in apomap.

## Existing chats

All conversations are listed on the left. Click one to open it.

|| Tip: Use the chat, for example, when a temperature alarm comes in or when you attach another order to a driver's tour during the tour.
