# How do I plan orders with scan mode?

Instead of ticking orders in the list, you simply scan the receipts of the bags that should go on the tour. Then you plan the tour with one click.

## How scan mode works

1. Open **Tour planning** or the **order overview**.
2. Above the order list, click the **scan icon** next to the **+**. Scan mode opens with "Ready to scan".
3. Scan the receipts from your pharmacy management system or the apomap labels one after the other. Each scanned order appears in the list, with the most recent at the top.
4. Click **Plan tour**. Enter a name, start time and driver and click **Create tour**.

Scanned the wrong receipt by mistake? Click the **minus icon** to the right of the order, and it's removed from the selection.

## More actions

Instead of planning a tour straight away, you can also do the following with the scanned orders under **Select action**:

- **Mark as packed**
- **Add orders to a tour**, for example a tour that has already been planned
- **Add to collective order**
- **Bulk edit**
- **Print:** print labels for the bags
- **Delete**

|| Tip: Scan mode is the fastest way if you only have one location and put the bags together right before the tour. You can still tick orders by hand at any time. → [How do I plan a tour?](https://hilfe.apomap.de/en/article/wie-plane-ich-eine-tour-1c222j2/)
