Welcome to the apomap manual

Great to have you here! This manual gives you step-by-step guides for every apomap feature. The categories follow the course of a typical delivery day: first the orders come in, then they are packed, then the tour is planned and driven.

What's new in apomap

Key terms

  • Order: A delivery or pickup for a customer. Orders arrive automatically from your pharmacy management system, or you create them by hand.
  • Delivery order: Your driver takes goods from the pharmacy to the customer.
  • Pickup order: Your driver picks something up, for example prescriptions at a doctor's practice, and brings it to the pharmacy.
  • Collective order: Several orders to the same address, for example a care home, combined into one stop.
  • Favourite: A saved address you visit again and again, such as a doctor's practice or a care home, so you don't have to enter the details every time.
  • Tour: The route a driver takes. apomap plans the best order of stops for you.
  • Recurring tour: A tour that apomap creates automatically on fixed days and times, for example the care-home tour every Tuesday.
  • Location: A pharmacy in your account. If you have several pharmacies, you create one location for each.
  • Central delivery service: apomap plans a tour as if all orders were in one pharmacy. This is handy when several locations deliver from one pharmacy.
  • Status: Shows where an order currently stands:
    • Open: The order has been created but isn't ready yet.
    • Packed: The goods are ready and can go into a tour.
    • In tour: The order is planned in a tour or on its way.
    • Done: The order has been delivered or picked up.
    • Clarification: It's unclear how to proceed with this order. You can set orders to go into clarification automatically, for example if the customer wasn't home twice.
  • Driver app: The app for the delivery phone. Your driver uses it to see the tour, navigate and record the delivery.
  • Integration: The connection between apomap and your pharmacy management system. It brings your orders into apomap automatically.
