How do I set pickup times per location?
Your goods aren't always ready straight away: the wholesaler only delivers at 9 am, a branch closes at 6 pm, or a second location only packs at midday. With pickup times per location you specify when your drivers may collect the orders at which pharmacy. Tour optimisation then automatically plans the route so that each location is visited within its pickup time.
You can set the pickup times in two ways:
- As a default in the settings – applies automatically to all tours of that location.
- Directly in tour planning – only for a single tour, e.g. if the wholesaler delivery is delayed on one day.
1. Set default pickup times in the settings
- Open Settings (cog) at the bottom left.
- Click the Global selection field at the top left and choose the location the pickup times should apply to.
- In the menu under Tour planning, click Route optimisation.
- Enter the Earliest pickup time and the Latest pickup time. Your entry is saved automatically – you briefly see the message "Settings updated successfully".
- Repeat the steps for each further location.

Good to know: If you leave the fields empty, the pickup time at that location isn't restricted. The latest pickup time prevents, for example, a driver arriving at the pharmacy only after closing time.
2. Adjust pickup times for a single tour
- In Tour planning, select the orders you want and click Plan tour.
- Click Advanced settings at the bottom. There you see all pharmacies with orders in this tour.
- Your default pickup times from the settings are already entered here. Adjust Earliest pickup and Latest pickup if needed.
- Click Create tour.

Changes in tour planning apply only to this one tour. Your default values in the settings stay unchanged.
What does tour optimisation do with this?
Optimisation takes into account the pickup times of all locations involved together with your orders' time windows. If, for example, the goods at a second location may only be collected from 12:00, apomap plans the pickup there accordingly and delivers the related orders afterwards.
