How do I use empty tours?

An empty tour is a tour without orders. You create it in the morning and fill it during the day, for example whenever a bag has been packed.


How to create an empty tour


  1. In Tour planning, click the + at the top right of the tours.
  2. Check the suggested name or enter your own, for example "Afternoon tour".
  3. Enter the start time.
  4. Choose driver, start point, end point and vehicle. You can still change the driver later.
  5. Only with several locations: under Central delivery service, choose the pharmacy the tour departs from. → What does central delivery service mean?
  6. Click Create.


Fill an empty tour


Drag orders into the tour or use Select action → Add orders to a tour. It's even faster with scan mode or the tour label. → How do I add, remove or move orders?


Note: Before your driver sets off, you need to optimise the tour once. To do so, click the blue arrow circle. → Prepared or ready: when do I need to re-optimise?


Tip: Need the same empty tour every day? Create it as a recurring tour without favourites. Then it's there automatically every morning. → How do I create and manage recurring tours?
