How do I create and manage favourites?

Favourites are addresses you visit regularly, for example care homes, doctors' practices or regular customers. Once created, you can turn them into an order with one click.

Favourites are especially worthwhile for orders that don't come from your pharmacy management system, for example the daily prescription pickup at the doctor's.

The favourites view

Open Favourites in the menu on the left. You see all favourites with pharmacy, name, tags and address. At the top you'll find a search field and the sort order.

Create favourites

You have three options:

  • In the favourites view: Click Create favourite at the top right, enter all the details and click Create.
  • When creating an order: Fill in the order and, before creating it, tick Save as favourite at the bottom.
  • From a CSV file: In the favourites view, click the upload icon. This works exactly like it does for orders. → How do I add orders from a CSV file?

Create an order from a favourite

  1. Click + to create a new order.
  2. At the very top, click Select favourite and choose the favourite. apomap fills in all the fields.
  3. Check the date and time window and click Create delivery order.

Note: If you change anything, it only applies to this one order. The favourite itself stays as it is.

Edit and delete favourites

In the favourites view, click the pencil icon next to the favourite to edit it or the bin icon to delete it.

Tip: If you visit the same favourites every week, for example your doctors' tour, let apomap create the tour automatically. → How do I create and manage recurring tours?

Time windows per weekday

Do you deliver to a customer regularly – such as a care home or a practice – and they aren't available at the same times every day? Then set separate time windows for each weekday in the favourite. Every new order for this favourite automatically takes the time windows of the delivery day.

  1. Create a favourite (Create favourite) or edit an existing one with the pencil icon.
  2. Scroll to Time windows per weekday.
  3. For the day you want, click Add time window and enter the times. You can create several time windows per day, e.g. 08:00–12:00 and 15:00–18:00.
  4. If the same times apply on other days, click Copy to and choose the days or All days.
  5. Save the favourite.

Note: If no time window is entered for a day, the favourite's general Earliest delivery and Latest delivery settings apply.
